A life-size sticker of senior citizens in a golf cart, a burrito blanket, and a portable pizza pouch—these are all products that Matt Eicheldinger’s 6th grade language arts students can write reviews about as part of his “Weird Gift Reviews” activity.

Here, he explains how he engages his students in this fun writing activity before winter break.
